How this directory is built
- Screenshots are real. Every card shows an actual screenshot of that tool's own website, taken directly — not a stock photo or a generated mockup.
- Pricing is sourced from vendor pages. Every price on this site was checked against the vendor's own pricing page at the time of writing, not against marketplace aggregators or affiliate roundups (which we found to be wildly inconsistent for this category).
- Architecture facts are checkable. Where we tag a tool "local," "cloud," or "dedicated IP," that's drawn from the vendor's own product documentation, not our guess.
- Updated, not archived. Pricing changes; when it does, this page is corrected rather than left stale.
What this directory won't do
- Assign a made-up "safety score" or repeat an unverifiable ban-rate percentage as fact.
- Present a vendor's marketing claim as independently confirmed — we label vendor claims as vendor claims.
- Rank tools by who pays us. Nobody does; the "Top pick" label reflects our own editorial judgment, explained where it appears.
